Aflac may be a great choice for you if you want dental insurance that helps cover periodontal treatments, preventative care and other services. You can expect some level of coverage in the following categories if you choose Aflac’s primary dental insurance:
Aflac also offers supplemental dental insurance, or additional coverage for expenses your primary plan doesn’t cover. With Aflac’s supplemental plan, you can receive cash benefits paid directly to you to help cover the cost of dental procedures.
Dental implants typically cost between $3,000 to $7,000 for one tooth. This includes the device and the actual surgical procedure. Dental implant costs are high because they are complex procedures and can take a few months to complete.2
Many dental insurance policies will not cover dental implants. However, some plans may help cover the cost if implants are deemed medically necessary. Aflac’s primary and supplemental dental insurance plans do not currently have benefits for dental implants.
Not all dental insurance covers implants and dentures, so we advise you to take a close look at the options you are considering.
Don’t wait until it’s too late. Help cover yourself and your family with coverage from Aflac.
