AFLAC is Selected as One of Latina Style's 50 Best Companies For Hispanic Women to Work For
COLUMBUS, Ga. Aug. 27, 2004 - LATINA Style magazine has named AFLAC to its list of the Top 50 Best Companies for Hispanic Women to Work for the seventh consecutive year. An award ceremony honoring the 2004 LATINA Style 50 Best Companies will be held in February 2005, during LATINA Style's Diversity Best Practices Conference in Washington, D.C.
Published annually, the LATINA Style 50 selects companies that integrate the best employment policies and resources as they relate to Hispanic women. The primary areas of evaluation included mentoring programs, profit sharing, educational opportunities, dependent/child care support, education reimbursement, number of Latina executives, flexible work schedules, employee child scholarships and dedicated Hispanic recruitment.
