A Lump Sum Critical Illness insurance policy from Aflac can help protect your family and your finances.

You never know when you or your family could be affected by a life-changing illness. That’s why it's so important to protect yourself—and your loved ones—with reliable coverage like our Lump Sum Critical Illness Insurance.

Here's how it works.

Critical illness can strike anybody at any time. Aflac's Lump Sum Critical Illness Insurance pays cash benefits directly to you, not the doctor or the hospital, so you can use it to help with medical bills, everyday expenses or anything in-between.

You feel chest pain.

Limb discomfort. Cold sweats. Nausea. Chest pain. When the symptoms hit, you know it’s time to visit the hospital.

You’re taken to the ER.

You take an ambulance to the emergency room and the diagnosis is in: you've suffered a heart attack.

Aflac steps in to help.

Aflac pays you benefits directly.

You focus on getting well.

You use cash benefits to help with medical bills, continuing care, or everyday expenses. With Aflac's help, you can worry less.

As our product line expands and new benefits become available, Aflac will stop offering One Day PaySM effective Jan. 1, 2021, in order to provide consistency to the claim process and in alignment with the implementation of new technology. Aflac will continue to pay claims fast. Please note that One Day Pay will remain available until Dec. 31, 2020, and all eligible claims must be submitted online through www.aflac.com or the MyAflac app, including all required documentation, by 3 p.m. ET. Documentation requirements vary by type of claim; please review requirements for your claim(s) carefully.

Online processing is available on most individual Accident, Cancer, Hospital, Specified Health and Intensive Care policies. Processing time is based on business days after all required documentation needed to render a decision is received and no further validation and/or research is required.
