Jerry Jeffery


William Jeremy Jeffery is senior vice president of Investments and the chief investment officer for Aflac Incorporated. Mr. Jeffery is responsible for overseeing all of the investment activities of Aflac and Aflac Japan.
Mr. Jeffery had a 23-year career with Morgan Stanley before joining Aflac in 2005. While at Morgan Stanley, he focused on diverse fixed-income strategies affecting a wide range of industries and served as executive director, Fixed Income Institutional Sales for 10 years.
He currently serves on the boards of two private charitable foundations based in Connecticut.  Mr. Jeffery also has served as the chairman of the Annual Fund at Rippowam/Cisqua School, a private elementary school in Bedford, N.Y., as well as on the Board of The Friends of the John Jay Homestead, a New York State historic site.
Mr. Jeffery holds a degree in political science from Yale University.
