Laree Daniel
Senior Vice President, Customer Assurance Organization

Laree Daniel is senior vice president of the Customer Assurance Organization for Aflac, which includes Client Services, Claims, Aflac Benefit Services, and New York Administration. Promoted to this position in March 2009, Ms. Daniel oversees the Customer Service Center and Policy Service, as well as the business operations of the Claims Division, which includes Claims Production and Claims Planning/Technology; Aflac New York Administration; and Aflac Benefit Services.

Ms. Daniel joined Aflac in 2007 as a customer experience consultant for Internal Operations.  An insurance industry veteran with a history of proven results, Ms. Daniel brought more than 17 years of leadership to Aflac from two of the nation’s largest insurers – Assurant Health, where she served as chief administrative officer, and Mutual of Omaha, where her positions included tenures as vice president of Individual Health Claims, vice president of Life Claim and Corporate Support, and vice president of the Call Center and Customer Service Processing.

Ms. Daniel is involved in the local community and is active in her church. She has volunteered her time to organizations that include Big Brothers Big Sisters, Sierra Francis House Homeless Shelter, and the Task Force on Family Violence.  Ms. Daniel also has served as chairperson for the Columbus High School Local School Council.

Her professional designations include the Health Insurance Association of America (HIAA) and the Accredited Customer Service (ACS).

Ms. Daniel holds Bachelor of Science degrees in business and psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan University, and a Master of Science degree in organizational psychology from the University of Nebraska.
