Kermitt L. Cox, FSA, MAAA

Kermitt Cox is senior vice president, Corporate Actuary for Aflac Incorporated. He joined Aflac in 1987 as vice president and was promoted to senior vice president in 1998. 

He is a member of the Society of Actuaries, the American Academy of Actuaries, the International Actuarial Association, and the Southeastern Actuarial Club. He currently serves on several committees of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Following several years of teaching and four years in the U.S. Air Force, he attended the University of Nebraska for graduate study in actuarial science.

Mr. Cox holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Iowa State University.
