Janet Baker

Janet Baker is senior vice president of Corporate Learning for Aflac Incorporated.

Ms. Baker joined Aflac in 1982, most recently served as senior vice president and director of Client Services. During her tenure with Aflac, she has held various positions, including second vice president of Human Resources, and second vice president of Client Services. In her new position, Janet will provide corporate oversight for the creation and implementation of strategies that will enhance the learning and development of Aflac employees.

Ms. Baker was appointed vice president of Marketing Services in June 1999 and vice president of Account Implementation and Management in July 2002.  She assumed her current position in December 2007.

Ms. Baker is active in her church and various community organizations. She has held board positions with the YMCA and the American Red Cross.  She is the past president of the Golden K Kiwanis Club in Columbus and is past president of Altrusa International – a community organization directed at building leadership skills for women and addressing literary issues within the city.

Ms. Baker holds a master's degree in human resources management from Troy University. She also holds a bachelor of science degree in management from TU, where she graduated magna cum laude.
