Peter T. Adams

Peter T. Adams is senior vice president, financial reporting; assistant treasurer for Aflac Incorporated. Mr. Adams is responsible for overseeing the areas of Treasury, Financial Reporting and Compliance, and Investments Accounting.

Mr. Adams, who joined Aflac in 1999 as vice president in Human Resources Support, has approximately 20 years of financial and auditing experience. He was promoted to his current position in August 2007.

Before joining Aflac, Mr. Adams worked as a senior manager with KPMG LLP, where he specialized in audit and accounting consulting services for publicly held insurance companies. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPA and the Alabama Society of CPAs.

Mr. Adams holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of South Alabama and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1989.
