Aflac Life for Business
Three Competitive Policies: Whole, Term and Juvenile Life.

Aflac’s goal is to keep life insurance simple by offering three different plans to allow you to choose the coverage you need.
  1. Whole Life Insurance - lifetime coverage that builds cash value

Aflac offers a whole life policy to provide you coverage up to $200,000 ($100,000 if you are over 50). And because this is an individual life insurance policy, Aflac’s Life Protector plan is yours to keep, even if you change jobs.

    • It’s available in amounts of $10,000-$200,000.
    • This policy builds cash value that can be used as a policy loan.
    • The rates do not increase with age.
    • It pays nonforfeiture benefits.
    • It contains an automatic premium loan provision.

  2. Term Life Insurance - coverage for a specified period of time

Aflac offers term life insurance coverage for a set number of years-up to $200,000 ($100,000 if you are over 50). You can choose a 10-year, 20-year, or 30-year policy. If you were to die during the term, the death benefit is paid in full. Otherwise, if the term has been reached, the policy will terminate, can be renewed for another term, or converted to a whole life policy.

You may also obtain specified coverage for your spouse and children by adding optional riders to your policy. And, the policy is portable, so coverage is there even if you change jobs, for as long as the premiums are paid.

  3. Juvenile Life Insurance (Term to Age 25) - coverage for those under 25 years of age

This plan is designed for people ages 0-24 who have, at best, a little income. Adults are eligible to apply for coverage on their children or grandchildren, ages 0 through 24, who are in good health.

When the insured reaches age 25, the term insurance policy doubles ($10,000 to $20,000 and $20,000 to $40,000) and becomes permanent life insurance with cash and loan values that begin to accumulate during the third year after conversion. In addition to the cash and loan values, both policies continue to guarantee a death payment equal to the policy face value. After conversion, the annual premium stays at the same rate for the entire lifetime of the insured person.
