Dear Aflac,

I was working and I started to hurt in my stomach area, I went to the doctor and he immediately ordered testing for my gallbladder. I had to have surgery because my gallbladder was only functioning at 9%.

After I had my gallbladder surgery, I had to go into the hospital for four days. After being hospitalized for the four days, I was able to come home with no diagnosis.

When I arrived home and went through the mail, there was the electric bill and I didn’t know how I was going to pay.

Then, I had another doctor's appointment on Tuesday of the following week and I had to undergo surgery on September 10, 2009 for my appendix—two surgeries within a two week period.

After getting out of the hospital, I realized that I had an Aflac hospital confinement indemnity insurance policy that could help me when I was sick.

I filed the completed claim forms and I would like to say Aflac saved the day.
