Dear Aflac,

I had been putting off applying for Aflac for about four years. I finally talked to Rob (my Aflac agent) because I was thinking about getting pregnant at some point next year and I wanted to know what benefits Aflac provided.

I am also an accident queen and every time something happens to me I say that I should have gotten Aflac. I went ahead and applied for the accident, hospital confinement indemnity, and the short-term disability insurance policies.

On September 2, while my family and I were on vacation, I fell down some steps in our rental house. Due to the fall I broke my foot and then a couple weeks later I developed two blood clots from the break. The blood clots caused me to go into the hospital for almost a week and then I was out of work for about a month.

I don't know what I would have done without Aflac!
