COLUMBUS, Ga., Oct. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aflac Incorporated (NYSE: AFL) announced today that it will release third quarter financial results after the market closes on October 24, 2005.

In conjunction with the earnings release, Aflac Incorporated will webcast a conference call scheduled for 1:30 p.m. (EDT) on October 25, 2005. During the conference call, Aflac Incorporated Chairman and CEO Daniel P. Amos will discuss Aflac's third quarter results and the company's outlook for 2005.
