Aflac New York Celebrates Move to New Offices
ALBANY, N.Y. – April 27, 2005 – Area business and community leaders are joining Aflac New York executives and employees as they host an open house on Thursday, April 28, 2005 to celebrate moving into larger corporate offices.
More than 200 people are expected to attend the event, including Aflac Incorporated executives from headquarters in Columbus, Ga. Among them are Diane Orr, Senior Vice President, Claims, Agents' Accounting/Remittance Processing, Administration Best Practices/ Risk Management Aflac New York Administration. “We're very proud of the growth that Aflac New York is experiencing. The recent move into a larger location presents us with additional opportunities to grow and expand our business for many years to come,” Orr said.
Also expected to attend are Aflac New York sales associates, Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce officials and local elected leaders.
The 26,000 square-foot office is located at 22 Corporate Woods Blvd in Albany. Aflac New York employees will enjoy a variety of building amenities including a cafeteria, health club and covered parking.

Also in 2004, Aflac Incorporated committed $45,000 to The Child Life Therapy Program at The Morrell Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders housed in The Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center. In addition to the monetary donation, Aflac New York employees will coordinate social activities for the children including arts and crafts projects and more.
