Aflac Announces Ron Agypt as Vice President of Broker Sales
Insurance industry veteran to lead worksite marketer’s new broker development initiative.
COLUMBUS, Ga. – October 7, 2008 – Aflac today announced that Ron Agypt, a 34-year insurance industry veteran, has joined the company’s management team as vice president of Broker Sales. Agypt will be responsible for setting corporate strategy and developing national marketing relationships with insurance brokers. He will lead Aflac’s broker development team, which includes a recently enhanced organizational structure with positions created at regional and local levels throughout the country. In addition to business development responsibilities, the new team will include positions dedicated to managing customer service to brokers’ clients.

Before joining Aflac, Agypt held an executive position with Combined Insurance, an Aon Corporation company, where he became the youngest regional manager and vice president in the organization’s history. During his tenure with Combined Insurance, Agypt led 12 different organizations managing up to 4,000 employees.
