Ethan Martin of Toccoa, Ga. thrilled fans Saturday morning at Tony Gwynn
Stadium in San Diego, as they put on an impressive show of power to win the
Aflac All-American Home Run Derby.
Both Hood and Martin hit five home runs in the final round of the contest,
sending them to a tie-breaking round in which they each hit two more to share
the title of Home Run Derby Champion. The Derby took place just before the
fifth Annual Aflac All-American High School Baseball Classic.

The fifth annual Aflac All-American High School Baseball Classic was
played on Saturday, August 11th at San Diego State's Tony Gwynn Stadium. The
event is the nation's elite high school baseball showcase featuring the top 38
rising senior players in an East vs. West match-up. Net proceeds from the game
will benefit San Diego's Rady Children's Hospital and Health Center.
