After an impressive amateur career at the University of Georgia, Imada turned professional in 1999 and played on the Nationwide Tour for four seasons, compiling two victories, three runner-up finishes and 39 Top 25s. In 2004, he earned his PGA Tour card for 2005. In May 2008, Imada picked up his first career PGA Tour victory at the AT&T Classic in Atlanta, besting veteran Kenny Perry on the first playoff hole.

For his career through Feb. 2010, Imada has compiled one win, three runner-up finishes, 10 Top 10s and 30-plus Top 25s, accumulating $6.9 million in career earnings.
