Michael Zuna is senior vice president, and chief marketing officer of Aflac U.S.
At Aflac, Michael has responsibility for Aflac's omni-channel marketing, including sales enablement, consumer engagement, digital, mobile, social marketing, brand strategy, public relations, product development, advertising and customer acquisition and retention. He is also responsible for leading development of new distribution strategies, including Aflac's private health care exchange, Everwell.
Zuna joined Aflac in 2009 as vice president of Marketing. He was promoted to chief marketing officer in October 2010. Prior to joining Aflac, Zuna served as the managing director of Saatchi & Saatchi New York and held other leadership roles at Arnold Worldwide and Ogilvy & Mather.
Zuna's work has been widely recognized with numerous industry awards, and he has been consistently ranked in the Top 35 Most Influential Global CMOs by Forbes.
Zuna graduated cum laude from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in economics.
