David Pringle is senior vice president of Federal Relations. Mr. Pringle is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in insurance and risk management. He has worked for Aflac for more than 30 years. For nine of those years, Mr. Pringle worked with Aflac’s sales forces in the states of Mississippi, North Carolina, and West Virginia, where he worked his way from the position of associate to state sales coordinator.
During his career with Aflac, Mr. Pringle has also worked at Aflac Worldwide Headquarters as the assistant agency director for the West Territory, and director of Training, where he was responsible for developing the concept for Aflac’s state training programs.
Mr. Pringle assumed his current position in 1990. His primary responsibility is to coordinate Aflac’s government relations and lobbying efforts in Washington, D.C. He is also secretary and principal fundraiser for Aflac's Political Action Committee (Aflac PAC).
