Kenneth S. Janke, Jr., is executive vice president and deputy chief financial officer of Aflac Incorporated. He oversees Aflac Incorporated's investment, capital, and risk management functions as well as other financial matters.
Mr. Janke joined Aflac Incorporated in 1985 as manager of Investor Relations and was promoted to senior vice president in 1993. Under Mr. Janke’s leadership, in 2002 Aflac’s Investor Relations department was recognized by Investor Relations magazine as the Best Overall Investor Relations Department for a large-cap company. The following year, Mr. Janke was named the Best Investor Relations Officer for a large-cap company.
In 2010, he was promoted to his current position as executive vice president, deputy chief financial officer. He also chairs Aflac’s Corporate Disclosure Committee.
Prior to beginning his distinguished career at Aflac, Mr. Janke served as director of Corporate Services for the National Association of Investors Corporation (NAIC) in Madison Heights, Michigan. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Michigan in 1981 and a master’s degree in business administration from Oakland University School of Business Administration in 1985.
