June Howard joined Aflac in June 2009 as senior vice president, Financial Services, and assumed the additional role of chief accounting officer in November 2010. In her role, she is responsible for financial reporting and control, accounting policy, investment accounting, corporate tax, budgeting and strategic sourcing.
Prior to joining Aflac, Howard held financial reporting positions of increasing responsibility at ING and The Hartford. Additionally, she worked as an auditor with Ernst & Young for nearly 10 years.
Howard is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, the CFA Institute and the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts.
Howard earned a bachelor's degree in of business administration from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
